Shopping Sneak Peek in St. Tropez

Our VP of Merchandising & Product Development

She travels the world seeking new fashion inspiration for Beyond Proper, so we sat down with her to find out where she went and what she wore on her latest shopping trip to St. Tropez.

You always want to be comfortable when traveling, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style.
I am obsessed with our slub tees
because they’re soft and super easy to wear but have just enough of a design twist to look interesting and special. They’re perfect for long overnight flights, and I just pair it with a cute pair of our travel crop pants and easy slip-on sneakers.

I want to upgrade my look before I get to France, so before changing planes in London, I change my clothes. I swapped my travel crop pant for these edgy mirrored jeans and traded my sneakers for
these white booties–yes they’re in season even in summer!
But they’ll also be super chic in the cooler temps of September when I’m shopping in Florence.

For a full day of shopping in St. Tropez, boho is the only way to go. You may think shopping all day for work sounds like a dream job, and who are we kidding, of course it is. But believe it or not it’s a LOT of hard work. You need to feel as great as you look, for a minimum of 10 hours. Easy dresses go with the flow, and the right shoes are key. For street shopping I go with flat gladiators, and for lunch (preferably at Club 55) I throw on wedges.
This is one of my favorite dresses to wear
now, and later with a hat and killer boots in a couple of months.

Work hard, play harder. We make time for dinner, drinks and entertainment at L’Opera – definitely a St. Tropez must.
There’s something so sexy about shorts and high heels.
I pair them with a bodysuit and a fierce jacket, and when the night gets a little hotter, the jacket comes off. I’m looking forward to pairing this blazer with our new slimming top and skinny jeans in the fall.
